Happy Purim from GYMIES!

Snowday!! GYMIES Closed!

As you probably guessed, GYMIES will be closed today, Monday, December 27th and tomorrow, Tuesday the 28th due to the blizzard. We will reopen on Wednesday, December 29th.

We hope you are staying, safe, warm and cozy! Or cold and wet, but having too much fun to notice :)

Sukkos Schedule Reminder!

Just a reminder that GYMIES will be closed for Sukkos from Wednesday, September 22nd through Friday, October 1st.

We will reopen on Sunday, October 3rd with regular programming.

New Sunday GYMNASTICS Schedule

Summer is approaching! And starting this Sunday May 16th, 2010 a revised Sunday schedule will be in effect:

Pre -1A GIRLS 10:00am - 11:00am
4-5 yr BOYS 11:00am - 11:45am
4 yr GIRLS 11:50am - 12:35pm
3-4 yr GIRLS 12:45pm - 1:45pm
1st-2nd Grade GIRLS 1:45pm -2:45pm
3rd-5th Grade GIRLS 2:45pm - 3:45pm

Pesach Schedule

Hello Everyone!

Just a quick reminder that GYMIES will be closed for Pesach from Sunday, March 21st through April 10th. GYMIES will reopen on Sunday, April 11th.

GYMIES Purim Schedule

Thursday, Ta'anis Esther: GYMIES will be OPEN, but, as requested by many parents, we have changed the schedule so each class is earlier:

GYMJAM Gymnastics:
Pre-1-A through 1st Grade (4:30 class) will be at 1:00
3rd through 4th Grades (5:30 class) will be at 2:00

HotShots Martial Arts:
Pre-1-A through 1st Grade (4:30 class) will be at 1:00
2nd - 3rd Grades (5:30 class) will be at 2:00
4th - 6th Grades (6:30 class) will be at 3:00
7th - 8th Grades (8:30 class) is CANCELED as most boys will be fasting.

Sunday, Purim Day: We will not be having classes, but hope you stop by between 12 pm and 2 pm to say hello, show off your costumes and get a special treat!

Monday, Shushan Purim: There will be no classes on Shushan Purim.

No Martial Arts Classes This Thursday

There will be no Martial Arts classes this Thursday, November 26 in honor of Thanksgiving.

Oh - and THANKS for being a part of the GYMIES family!

NEW CLASSES JUST ADDED!

We just added 2 new classes!

GYMJAM gymnastics class for 3rd - 4th grade girls
Thursdays from 5:30 - 6:30 PM.

Tumblebees gymnastics class Pre-1-A - 2nd grade girls
Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:30 PM.

Martial Arts Classes Starting Now!

We are very excited to announce the start of our Martial Arts classes this Sunday, October 18th 2009. The classes will be led by Greg Runfola, Black Belt in the Martial Art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Here's a little about Greg:

Greg spent the last ten years as the Head Instructor at Kioto Jiu Jitsu in Port Jefferson, NY where he taught adult and children's classes. He has extensive training in Japanese and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Greg was inducted into the Budo Hall of Fame as "Instructor of the year" for BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) in 2008. He has held the titles of both State and National Champion in the sport of Jiu Jitsu and Submission wrestling. His classes are fast-paced and jam-packed.

We can't wait for you to meet him!

PURIM SCHEDULE

Ta'anis Esther: All Monday classes will be held as usual, with some slight scheduling changes:

4 Year Old Class: 3:15 (regular time)
2nd-3rd Grade: time changed to 4:15
4th-5th: time changed to 5:15

Purim Day (Tuesday): All Tuesday classes are rescheduled to THURSDAY, March 18th.

Sushan Purim: GYMIES is open on Shushan Purim!

Due to the fact that everyone is really, really busy celebrating the Festival of Lights, GYMIES has decided to be closed from Monday, December 22nd through Monday, December 29th. All classes will resume their regular schedules on Tuesday, December 30th.
